Hyvä muotoilu on pitkäikäinen.

Tämän toteamuksen varaan olemme rakentaneet brändimme 70-luvulta lähtien ja tämä aate manifestoituu jokaisen tuotteemme yksityiskohdassa.

Autamme kotitalouksia ympäri maailman vähentämään ympäristön kuormitusta.

Vaikka hyvä muotoilu on pitkäikäistä, kaikki tuotteet eivät kuitenkaan ole. Jätteestä on tullut osa jokapäiväistä elämäämme suuren kulutuksen vuoksi. Jos laitteet eivät toimi tai ruoka ei näytä täydelliseltä, niiden hävittäminen ja uuden ostaminen tuntuu helpoimmalta, kuin korjaaminen. Jos kuitenkin hyväksyisimme vanhentumisen, siitä tulisi myös normalisoitu osa jokapäiväistä elämäämme. Uskomme, että jokaisen yksittäisen kotitalouden pienillä kestävillä teoilla ja valinnoilla on mahdollisuus muuttaa maailmaa.

Siksi me Braunilla teemme näistä päätöksistä helpompia ja kestävämpiä.

80 prosenttia tuotteen ympäristövaikutuksista määrittyy sen suunnitteluvaiheessa.

Siksi on tärkeää, että tuotekehityksessä noudatetaan järjestelmällistä lähestymistapaa, joka perustuu konsernimme uusiin Eco-Design -kestävän kehityksen käsikirjaan, jonka olemme laatineet yhdessä Politecnico di Milanon asiantuntijoiden kanssa. Nämä suuntaukset ovat perusta uuden sukupolven ympäristöystävällisten tehokkaiden laitteiden strategiselle tietämykselle. 70 prosenttia uusista tuotteistamme on kuulunut tämän kestävän kehityksen käsikirjan piiriin vuodesta 2023 alkaen.

Już w latach 70. Dieter Rams opracował zapadający w pamięć język projektowania Braun i zdefiniował 10 zasad, którym nadal hołdujemy. Chociaż od początku były częścią naszego DNA, wymagamy od siebie więcej i nieustannie patrzymy w przyszłość.

Good Design is environmentally friendly.

We aim to use as little resources as possible and work on increasing the usage of materials in our products that are either recycled, recyclable, or both.

Moving forward, we are working on having at least 30%* of recycled plastic over the total plastic used in newly developed/upcoming products as of 2027 according to our commitment regarding material recycling.

Moreover, we have already saved more than 100 tons of paper through the partial digitalisation of our user instruction manuals for products globally sold in 2022. Also, there was no EPS (Synthesized Expanded Polystyrene) in the packaging of 53% of the Braun products sold in 2022.

The premium Braun dishwasher-safe attachments are engineered to survive 200 cycles in a continuous dishwasher program to guarantee function and visual appearance over the product's lifetime.

In 1998, we bought a Braun Combimax 700 food processor. My wife likes to cook as a hobby, so it was used almost every day. And not just once or twice, but sometimes for more than 2 or 3 hours – with breaks of course! After about 10 years, we asked ourselves how much longer it could last. So in 2008 we bought a new food processor – a Braun Combimax 700 too, of course – in order to be prepared for when the original stopped working. But it kept working perfectly. Then, on September 25th 2014 (!!!), it finally gave up the ghost after 16 and a half years! Overall calculation: 198 months x 25 days.
