Why is the coffee on my MultiServe overflowing?

If you find your coffee is overflowing please check the following:


- You are not using a paper and gold tone filter together. Please be sure to use one or the other.
- Make sure you are not overfilling the basket with coffee and your grinds are not too fine. Drip coffee makers require a coarse ground coffee.
- Make sure the filter basket is properly inserted
