Un design bun este durabil.

Acesta este unul din principiile pe care ne-am construit marca încă din anii '70. Indiferent de cât de aproape te vei uita, îl vei regăsi in toate detaliile.

Sprijinim casele din întreaga lume să aibă un impact mai mic asupra lumii.

Un design bun poate fi durabil, însă nu toate lucrurile din această lume împărtășesc această trăsătură. Risipa a devenit parte din viața noastră de zi cu zi. Pentru că acum, risipa e la îndemână. Dacă echipamentul nu mai funcționează sau alimentele nu mai arată atât de bine, alegerea cea mai la îndemână este să ne cumpărăm altele. Știm că deciziile de zi cu zi, din fiecare casă au puterea să schimbe lumea.

Acesta este motivul pentru care la Braun, încercăm să-ți ușurăm deciziile.

E important să avem o abordare sistemică atunci când dezvoltăm produse și să urmăm noile Ghiduri de Eco-Design. Am dezvoltat în cooperare cu experții de la Politehnica din Milano un manual prin care se stabilesc bazele cunoștințelor strategice ale unei noi generații de electrocasnice eco-eficiente. Ca un pas înainte - 70% dintre produsele nou dezvoltate vor fi conforme Ghidurilor de Eco-Design începând cu 2023.

În anii '70 Dieter Rams a dezvoltat designul memorabil al produselor Braun și a definit 10 principii ale unui design bun, principii relevante și astăzi. Deși aceste principii au făcut parte din ADN-ul nostru încă de la început, privim mereu spre viitor.

Un design bun este prietenos cu mediul.

Ne propunem să folosim cât mai puține resurse cu putință și să folosim materialer care sunt fie reciclate, fie reciclabile, fie ambele.

În ceea ce privește perspectivele de viitor, ne propunem ca cel puțin 30% dine plasticul utilizat pentru noile produse să fie plastic reciclat începând cu 2027, conform angajamentului nostru privind reciclarea materialelor.

Mai mult decât atât, am economisit deja peste 100 de tone de hârtie prin digitalizarea parțială a manualelor noastre de instrucțiuni de utilizare pentru produsele vândute la nivel global, în anul 2022. De asemenea, nu a existat EPS (polistiren expandat sintetizat) în ambalajele a 53% dintre produsele Braun vândute în 2022.

In 1998, we bought a Braun Combimax 700 food processor. My wife likes to cook as a hobby, so it was used almost every day. And not just once or twice, but sometimes for more than 2 or 3 hours – with breaks of course! After about 10 years, we asked ourselves how much longer it could last. So in 2008 we bought a new food processor – a Braun Combimax 700 too, of course – in order to be prepared for when the original stopped working. But it kept working perfectly. Then, on September 25th 2014 (!!!), it finally gave up the ghost after 16 and a half years! Overall calculation: 198 months x 25 days.
